The Sports Community in Gombe State are jubilant, as the Gombe State Government has approved the Sports Week, as proposed by the effervescent and highly regarded awards winning sports administrator, Mallam Shuaibu Gara Gombe.
Gombe, a renowned sports administrator is presently the Chairman of Gombe State Athletics Association.
The approved sports week, is ostensibly aimed at providing athletes, officials and administrators, the platform to collaborate and network in a convivial atmosphere that create a working synergy for the overall benefits of sports in the state.
