Head Coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club of Lagos, Isreal Adegolu has explained reasons his team lost 0-3 to Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Beyond Limits Football Club of Ikenne in a friendly match held on Wednesday morning at the Remo Stars Stadium.
Adegolu told our correspondent after the game that his boys gave their best but it was not enough to curtail rampaging Beyond Limits who had Its three goals in the first half.
“Our defeat was a wake up call and I must say that our opponents were too aggressive in the early minutes of the game and they did not allow us to play our normal game in the first half.
“Another major problem we had was that we could not convert our chances in both halves. It was a match that exposed the strength and weaknesses of my boys. The team are still in learning process and the players still need to work hard in our subsequent friendly matches,”he said.
Adegolu however described their opponents a good side and commended them for giving them a tough game.
Corroborating Adegolu stance, team manager of Prince Kazeem Eletu, Muftau Eletu expressed shock over the early goals his team conceded saying that the players were not their best in the first half.
“Our boys failed to play as I expected in the first half.I did not expect them to concede as early as possible in the first half. The early goals was a huge embarrassment to me and I think the boys need to wake up from their slumbers,”said Eletu who commended Beyond Limits for their performance.
Eletu while expressing his disappoinment with the outcome of the match admitted that Prince Kazeem Eletu FC needs quality strikers that can be dangerous to opponents.
“Of course we created some scoring chances but our strikers failed to convert the chances. We need quality strikers who would be a thorn in the flesh of our opponents,”he said.

The two goals gave homers a confidence to control the game as Eletu boys failed to convert thier slim chances created.

The second half was better for Eletu boys who dominated the possession.Eletu created some scoring chances but poor finishing denied them to find the back of the net.
