Widely described as one of the fastest rising goalkeepers in European football, Hapoel Jerusalem goal tender Adeleye Adebayo, has been receiving goodwill messages and commendations on his contact renewal for another three years with the Israeli top club.
Leading the illustrious line of former Super Eagles goalkeepers pouring encomiums on the young lad is former captain of the Super Eagles, Peter Rufai, who said, “when you see a young man doing well, you need to encourage him. I know he can do better. Good luck to him.”
From the popular Dosu lineage of great goalkeepers that included David, Joseph and John, it has been exciting for them watching Adeleye Adebayo, playing regularly and equally doing well for his team.
Abiodun Baruwa stated that the young lad as been so wonderful this season, as he believes he still has a lot to offer. While South Africa based former goalie Greg Etafia praised Adeleye for his wonderful performances this season, as he wished him the very best of his career
Vincent Enyeama was equally effusive in praises for the Hapoel Jerusalem star player, stating that, “he has beeen fantastic between the sticks for Hapoel Jerusalem. And I told him, his time will surely come. I’m not surprised with his performances so far, because I know he will go places,” the Ex-Super Eagles legendary goalkeeper remarked.
In recent times, pundits and aficionados have been calling out Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro to not only invite the young lad, but to also give him a chance to play in goal for the senior national team. Many of them believes Adeleye Adebayo, is the solution to the team’s goalkeeping problem.
