Dominion Hotsports Battle Young Boys, As Victor Ikpeba Football Challenge Kicks Off In Lagos

Lagos-based Amateur team, Dominion Hotsports Academy will confront Young Boys Football Club of Surulere on Wednesday, as the fourth edition of Victor Ikpeba Football Challenge begins in Lagos with a total of nine teams participating in the 5-A-Side competition.

The other participating teams include: Odogwu FC, Golden Competitors Fc, Old Boys FC and Steeze Fc.

Others include defending Champions, Gantos FC, Abe Igi FC and Soccer Pro Fc.

According to the General Coordinator of the Victor Ikpeba Football Challenge, Mr. Dapo Sotuminu, the kick-off of the opening game of the competition between Dominion Hotsports and Young Boys Fc has been fixed for 3pm at the Obele Odan Commumity Centre, Fujah Street, off Randle Avenue, Surulere.

Team captain of defending champions, Segun Ijitola Williams, has vowed that his team will do everything possible to retain their title.

The eventual Champion will go home with a cash prize of N250,000, first runners up N125,000, third place N100,000 and fourth place N50,000.

There will four individial awards for exceptional players; Best Player, Best Defender, Highest Goal Scorer and Most Valuable Player.
