Covenant Of Zion Schools located at No 2, Idris Adebisi Road, Ijegun, Lagos on 28th, July 2023 held a successful End of Session Party, Graduation & Awards ceremony.
No fewer than 500 primary and secondary students attended the session party. Other attendees are parents, guardians, teachers, media and invited guests.
During the party, students and pupils made several presentations such as CZS Acronyms, parts of speech, Letter sounds, rhymes and current affairs.
Some students showcased their talents in area of primary and secondary choreography, Dance drama, Atilogwu dance, Yoruba cultural group, Igbo cultural group, South South cultural group and Bata dance.
In her welcome address, Proprietress of the schools, Mrs E.O. Oresegun expressed gratitude to God for the success of 2022/23 session and thanked the parents and guardians for their support throughout last session.
“We appreciate parents who go all the way legitimately in ensuring proper up bring of their children,pay their school fees as at when due, buying their necessary text books, school wears and making them happy by paying for their excursion, projects and party programmes.May God make Covenant of Zion School parents to eat the fruit of their labour in Jesus name!Amen,”she said.
She explained further that Covenant of Zion Schools is proud to have created a good academic and working environment with highly skilled hardworking dedicated staff noted that the school remains dedicated to providing children with an all-embracing basic education capable of moulding them into their various field of endeavour.
Oresegun, however, outlined the school achievements since inception and urged the parents and guardians to continue giving the school necessary support to achieve more in the next session.
In his own remark, Director of Programmes & Projects of the school, Dr Babajide Oresegun congratulated the graduating students for completing their primary and secondary education.
He also thanked God for the laudable achievements of the school since inception and pointed out that the school had employed additional 18 experienced/matured teachers and provided three sick bay, painted with beds and fans.
He however reminded the parents and guardians to enroll their children for holiday summer coaching instead of allowing them to involve in social vices that can affect their lives negatively.
