Clubs have started purchasing their registration forms ahead of 2025/26 Lagos Divisional Football League Season.
The league is packaged and put together by Lagos Divisional Football Association LDFA under the leadership of Saheed Bakare.
Some of the clubs registered for the league are King FC,Elite Stars FC, Amsterdam FC,Horoboh FC and Triple A Goshen FC.
Speaking with our correspondent Technical Director of LDFA, Remmy Awosanya said the registration is still in progress noted that only the 20 teams would be accommodated for the new season.
He revealed that the LDFA would not allow late registration saying that any club owner fails to register his team at the stipulated time would not be accommodated.
“We have seen at least five teams showed interest and registered with LDFA for the league for now.We are still looking for more teams .Our target is to register 20 teams and once we have registered them, we would close the registration form,”he said.
Awosanya disclosed that the new season would be better than previous editions in terms of Organisation, and officiating of the league matches.
He however said the body would also organise a seminar for the participants in the day of draws and urged the club owners and coaches to attend the draw ceremony.
