It has been confirmed that the finals of the Winners Golden Bet Lagos State Challenge Cup would hold on 28, August at the new refurbished Onikan Stadium, Lagos Island.
In a statement issued by the Secretary of Lagos State Football Association, Rabiu-Okikioposu Akeem stated that LSFA/WGB Lagos FA Cup women and men finals will take place at the Onikan Stadium.
He however commended the football fans, stakeholders for their patience and assured that the Lagos FA board is ready to host a memorable and glamorous finals.
In the final of female category, Dannaz Ladies would have a mountain to climb as they face a Lagos based premier club, FC Robo Queens by 1pm, while Ottasolo FC would battle Dannaz FC in the male category by 3pm.
Akeem urged the finalists to intensify their preparations ahead of the closing ceremony.
Meanwhile the Lagos FA Cup finals was postponed last month due to the finalists engagements in the national challenge cup.
