All Africa Games: Women In Sports Commission Boosts Team Nigeria At Lagos Camp

The Nigeria Olympic Committee Women in Sports Commission (NOCWC) has donated some items to Team Nigeria athletes in camp preparing for the forthcoming 13th Africa Games in Ghana.

The presentation was made by the Vice President of the Taekwondo Federation of Nigeria, Ms Tayo Kuburat Popoola  on behalf of the President of Women in Sports Commission, Prof. Florence Adeyanju at the Lagos camp site,  Brai Ayenote Boxing Complex, National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.

According to her, the donation was the women in sports little way of boosting the morale of Team Nigeria athletes ahead of the continental sporting fiesta.

The items, which were mainly toiletries, were received by the Lagos Camp Commandant, Mr. Femi Ajao on behalf of the athletes with the support of Mrs. Nkana Mbora, who is in charge of the Lagos Laison office, Federal Ministry of Sports Development.

With the athletes scattered in various camps across the country, only five sports are camped in Lagos, 

These include Cricket, Handball, Mix Martial Arts, Table Tennis and Triathlon.
