With six out of the Nigerian boxers who qualified for the semi-finals already through to the final, Friday will be the judgement day for the remaining semi-finalists at the ongoing All African Games in Accra, Ghana.
The boxers Adesina Zainab (50kg), Kareem Shukurat ( 54kg) Ojo Joy (54kg), Olaore Adams 92kg and Onyekwere Ifeanyi (+92kg) will have their hands full and fight their ways to join their other colleagues in the final.
Fighting in the blue corner, Oneykwere will be up against Bweluzey Anthony Lazare from Code’ D’ Ivoire, while Olaore Adams will engage Egyptian Elsalamony Ali Mohammed Ibrahim in the heavyweight division.
For the lightweight category, Omole Dolapo will battle it out with Zambian Ngulube Albert in the featherweight class and same goes to Adesina Zainab who will square up against Fahbulleh Grace from Liberia in the light flyweight division.
Ogunsemilore Cynthia will take on Algerian Hadjila khelif in the lightweight category, while Mbata Patricia engages Gramane Rady Adosinda from Mozambique in a middleweight bout and not leaving Ojo Joy who will engage Tunisian Khouloud Hlimi in a featherweight bout.
Oraekwe Blessing will slug it out with Tunisian Ibeh Zina Eya in the light middleweight division, whille Kareem Shukarat faces Kenyan Faki Amina Martha in the bantamweight division.
