ACPPN Holds Protocol Congress 2026 In Lagos On Saturday

The Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACPPN) is set to host another landmark gathering of key stakeholders, including government agencies, diplomatic envoys, foreign missions, technology giants, and corporate institutions.

The event will feature the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), investiture, and induction of newly certified members.


Scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, the occasion will bring together seasoned professionals and distinguished guests to explore the theme: “Protocol Practice as a Catalyst for Effective Service Delivery in Nigeria.”


Leading institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ECOWAS, and FAAN, alongside other public and private sector organizations, will play prominent roles in highlighting the critical importance of protocol in governance and organizational efficiency.

Through this event and ongoing advocacy by ACPPN, there is strong optimism that greater awareness will be created, fostering opportunities for sustainable economic growth and improved service delivery in Nigeria and beyond.

According to the ACPPN, the keynote speaker of the event is the former Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Major General Ike Nwachukwu (rted.), while panelists include Ambassador Stadium Olukayode Olaniyan, former Director, Africa Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs Mavi Sofia Ikibor, founder of Pulse Nigeria, M Henry Agbebire, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN),  Mrs Olukemi Robinson – Atabuh, Director of Conference and Protocol at ECOWAS, and Ambassador Ikechi Uko, Founder of Akwaaba African Travel Market.

The event is scheduled to commence at 11:00 a.m.
