Baraka Football Academy and Anthony City Football Academy are currently leading their group table in the ongoing Lagos Divisional Football League, LDFA 2026/27 season.
The league which kicked off some weeks ago was put together by the Lagos Divsional Football Association,LDFA under the leadership of Saheed Bakare.
Presently the league is divided into two groups.Each group has nine teams.Baraka FA are leading the group A with 13 points having played five matches, won four,drew one and still have one outstanding match.
The second position in Group A are Divine Praise FA with 12 points having played six matches, won four and lost two matches. Team360 feeders are occupying third position with 10 points having played six matches, won three, drew one and lost two.
In group B, Anthony City FA are on top with 15 points having played five matches and won all and they still have an outstanding match to play. 12 Angels FC are in second position with 12 points having played five matches won four and lost one and they have a match at hand.Kings FC maintain third position with ten points having played five matches won three, drew one and lost one and they have an outstanding match to play.
The week seven would begin on Tuesday at the New Maracana Stadium, Triple A Goshen boys tackle Diadem Stallion FA by 11:30am, Kings FC battle group leader, Anthony City FA by 1pm as Divine Praise Junior face China Sun Stars FA by 2:30pm.
Action resumes on Wednesday when Horoboh boys tackle Honour FC by 9:30am, G.S.C FC face Gidi Stars FC by 11am, AYICRIP NELIS FA confront 12 Angels FC by 12:30pm as Elite Stars battle Team360 feeders by 2pm, while Group A table toppers, Baraka FA face O.D.K FA by 3:30pm.
Chairman Technical Committee, Remmy Awosanya thanked the members of the organising committee and leadership of LDFA for their unalloyed support given the league and urged the teams to honour their matches as scheduled.
He said the era of postponing matches for other grassroots football competitions in Lagos is over noted that any team fails to honour their matches is automatic walkover.
