Transformation Group Campaign Committee, TGCC has sent a congratulatory message to the 12 candidates that were elected recently at the Lagos State Football Coaches Elections.
The 12 elected candidates are Dosu David Apelete (Chairman) Adeleke ibiyemi Alegunleye(1st Vice Chairman) Eke uchenna Samuel(2nd Vice Chairman) Musibau Oseni( Secretary) Akinmoyo Victor(Finacial Secretary) and Abel Sohe(Welfare/Social Secretary)
Others are Kunle Ajayi(Treasurer) Oluwaseun Savage( Training Officer 2) Olorunbe Olawale Rafiu( Provost) Babalola Issa ( Assitant Secretary),Akande Fatai( Training Officer and Bagbe Michael(PRO)
TGCC was set up to campaign for its twelve candidates before the elections and all the candidates emerged as winners at the just concluded Lagos State football coaches poll which held recently at the Conference Hall of NIS, Surulere.
In his congratulatory message signed by the chairman of the TGCC, Olumide Ajayi commended its candidates for their victories at the poll and urged the newly elected members to start working immediately.
In his message, he admitted that the noble association has been stagnant for many years during the past administration noted that the challenges before the newly executive members are enormous and there is need for them to swing into action and take the association where it belongs to.
Ajayi quickly disclosed that funding would be amajor challenge before the newly elected members and urged them to find a way how they can generate money to start implementing its programmes in weeks to come.
“On behalf of TGCC, I congratulate all our candidates who won their seats at the recent Lagos State Football Coaches elections. Their victories at the poll had a sight of relief to the football coaches in Lagos after four years of stagnation.
” Presently we have new administration in place under the leadership of David Dosu who was elected as chairman.A lot are expected from our candidates and they are ready to work and bring the lost glory back to the association, “he said.
Asked if the TGCC would stop working having achieved its aims and objectives, Ajayi said the TGCC would remain in active and play advisory role to its candidates. He said the TGCC would work closely with the newly executive state officers and give them necessary support to achieve their mandate promised the Lagos State football coaches.
