Friends, associates, and prominent figures from Nigeria’s business and political circles gathered to celebrate Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as he marked his 66th birthday on May 29.
Governor Abiodun’s journey reflects a remarkable blend of entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and public service. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a successful businessman and philanthropist before emerging as one of Nigeria’s leading political figures.
Since assuming office as Governor of Ogun State, he has championed policies that have accelerated industrial growth, revitalized the state’s economy, expanded agricultural development, and positioned Ogun as a leading destination for investment and economic prosperity.
The birthday celebration attracted an impressive array of distinguished guests from across the country. Leading the business delegation were notable industry leaders, including Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group; Dr. Olusegun Olugboyegun, Chairman of JOF Group of Companies; billionaire businessman Femi Otedola; Managing Director of First Bank, Segun Alebiosu; and Group Chief Executive of Oando Plc, Wale Tinubu.

The political class was also well represented. Among those present were Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State; Chief of Staff to the President and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; Chairman of Odu’a Group, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru; and respected political associate, Feyi Bali.
