Sammy Boss Thanks Parents, Guardians For Support, Urges Them To Do More In Year 2026

Founder and President of Sammy Football Club of Ijegun,Lagos,Samuel Haruna has expressed gratitude to the parents, guardians,friends and coaching crew as well as management staff for their support given the club in year 2025.

Haruna while speaking with our correspondent on Wednesday morning said the year 2025 was a fulfilled year and thanked the parents and backroom staff for their unalloyed support given the club to achieve their set targets.

“I am using this medium to thank our parents, guardians and my coaching crew for the job well done.They are always there for us throughout last year and I am very grateful to them.Also I won’t forget the players who are committed to the club and still remain with us up till now,”he said.

Haruna who doubles as a Chief Coach of the team boasted that the club would do better this year but with the support of the parents,well wishers and management staff.

He however revealed that the club has resumed training recently in preparation for Ramadan Cup which begins later in the month and other future high profile football tournaments.

“We have so many programmes that would involve in this year and we need the support of the parents and guardians of our players.We don’t have sponsor yet which is affecting us from taking part in many programmes.

“I am using this medium to call on corporate bodies, sports philanthropists and well-wishers in Ijegun and its environs to support us materially and financially,”he said.

The club has retained the services of some management staff such as Adejuyigbe Taiwo as Vice President,Atoyebi Bashiru as Secretary, Charles Ikechukwu Kenneth as Team Manager,Olokodana Sheriff as Media and Scouting officer.

Others are Samuel Haruna as Chief Coach,while Olanrewaju David Ajayi is Assistant Coach as Alarape Azeez is also a coaching staff.
