The Lagos State Football Association has sent a congratulatory message to all Christian faithful, and particularly, the concerned stakeholders, investors and promoters of the beautiful game of football in Lagos State, as the world celebrates Christmas today.
In the message signed by the Chairman of LSFA, Hajji Gafar Liameed, and released by the Secretary of the FA, Mrs. Vera Jatto Okechukwu, the leadership and the entire board of the FA, remarked that there are several good reasons to celebrate the season.
The Lagos FA stated that football in the state has continued to experience growth, peace and progress as a result of cooperation and understanding it has enjoyed throughout the year from the Lagos State Sports Commission and particularly, the government of Lagos State, led by His Excellency, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
The Lagos FA, while praying for a warm and peaceful christmas celebrations, the statement added that it should also be a period of sober reflections and to display the good virtues of Jesus Christ.
