Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick in his side’s impressive 3-0 win against former European champions, Ajax to keep their hopes alive in the group stage of the UCL.
The Super Eagles forward who scored all goals for his side in the second half has also that opportunity to send warning to Gabon, as he prepares to lead the attack in the CAF Play-off of the World Cup qualifier.
The hat-trick also sent Osimhen to top of the top scorers table with 6 goals, while Man City’s Erling Haaland, who scored a goal in City’s 4-1 demolish of Dortmund on Wednesday trails him with 5 goals.
The Super Eagles forward also got a standing ovation from both fans when he was substituted in the 80th minute, as he later dedicated the goals also to the fans.
Osimhen’s current form as one of the most deadliest striker on the planet is undisputable, he will be expected to replicate same to the Super Eagles when they continue their quest for a World Cup ticket through the playoff.
