Ighalo Football Academy have officially qualified for the Super Four play-offs of the ongoing Lagos State League.
Ighalo defeated Ibeji Lekki United 1-0 yesterday at home to be the first team that qualify for the Super Four play-offs in the Mainland Conference Group.
With this victory, Ighalo FA have 26 points having played 11 matches, won eight, drawn two and lost one, with a match to play.
Ibeju Lekki United occupy second position with 18 points, having played 12 matches, won five, drawn three and lost four.
The chance of Ibeju Lekki United to qualify for the super four as a second position in the mainland conference still hangs in the balance, knowing full well that Arubinjaga FA, who are in third position, have 15 points with two matches to play.
Ibeju Lekki United have completed their matches, and if Arubinjaga win their remaining two matches or get four points from the two matches, they may qualify as a second team in the mainland conference group for play offs.
Arubinjaga would be a guest at SGH Sports on Friday by 2pm, while DN10 host Unizee on Saturday by 3pm.
In the Atlantic conference, Young Strikers will be away to face Lekki Junior Strikers on Friday at 11am.
Meanwhile, three teams are still fighting for qualification for the Super Four in the Atlantic Conference.
The three teams are Chekas United Feeders, Bucknor and Young Strikers. It is not clear which team would qualify until their last match in the league to decide the teams that would sail through.
