The MoU, signed in Abuja, establishes a framework for strategic collaboration between the two organisations to recognise and reward outstanding individual performances throughout the highly anticipated tournament, taking take place in Ikenne, Ogun State.
“Under the agreement, RSDF—renowned for its commitment to grassroots and women’s sports development—will sponsor the awards for all matches during the Super Six.

Speaking, RSDF President, Chief Dr. Paul Edeh, said, “The Foundation will also ensure brand visibility across all award materials and collaborate with SWAN on the logistics of each presentation.”
SWAN President Mr. Isaiah Benjamin hailed the initiative as “a timely boost for women’s football and a powerful statement of support for athletes striving for excellence.”
He added, “This collaboration not only celebrates performance on the pitch but also underscores the vital role of media and development partners in elevating the women’s game in Nigeria.”
