Former Nigeria female quarter-miler, Princess Mabel Madojiemu has expressed her delight with the general performance of Team Nigeria at the ongoing African Games.
Commenting on the Team Nigeria at the ongoing African Games, former Nigerian 400m athlete explained that Team Nigeria are not in Ghana to make numbers but to give other countries a run for their money.
“From what I’ve observed, Team Nigeria has shown exceptional skill, determinations, and spirit in the competitions.The athletes have not only displayed their talents but also their commitment to excellence, bringing pride to our nation Nigeria.
“In addition,their performances across various events have been commendable, with several standout moments that have captured the attention of fans and competitors alike.Let me use this medium to commend them for the job well done and they should continue in their impressive forms and they should try as much as possible to surpass their last previous editions, She said.
Founder of Princess Mabel Madojiemu also urged the athletes that would involve in track and field event to remain focused and ensure that Nigeria come out fly colour in the game sheduled to commnce next Monday.
She however expressed confidence in the ability of the athIetes and reminded the challenges that may encounter with their counterpart during the track/field events.
“As for the track and field athletes who are set to start their games on Monday, there is a palpable sense of anticipation and high expectations. Given the rigorous training and preparation they have undergone, I am confident they will perform admirably.
“These athletes have consistently shown that they are among the best in Africa, and I am excited to see them showcase their prowess on such a prestigious platform,” she concludes.
