Football fans on Lagos Island early ON Monday were excited following the kick off 1XBET Cup at the Campos sports center, Lagos.
Organisers of the 1XBET Cup successfully organized the community cup tagged’1XBET Cup’ in various conferences such as Ikorodu, Badagry, Epe and Mainland in the last few weeks.
Some football fans on Lagos Island who watched day one of the 1XBET Cup on were excited and commended the organisers for this laudable project.
One of the fans and coach, Waheed Kosoko said the tournament had positive impacts on footballers by bringing them together and also engage them through the round leather game.
He explained that the competition really united the footballers on Lagos Island and quickly frowned about number of teams taking part on Lagos Island conference 1XBET Cup.
“This type of competition is good for our youths who are looking for the tournament or the other to engage and 1XBET Cup came at the right time.My only concern is that the organisers allowed eight teams to participate despite numbers of teams on Lagos Island,”he said.
In his own reaction, Oriyomi Onadugba said the competition really brought harmony, unity and friendliness among the youths on Lagos Island and its environs.
“This competition also promotes trade and commerce around the match venue and this type of competition came at the right time and our footballers were able to showcase their talents to the world,”he said.
While some football stakeholders urged the organisers to bring 1XBET shops to the Island to allow sport lovers to patronise them.
They said if 1XBET shops are located in island, more football lovers would patronise them because of its odd compared to other betting companies.
