Remo Stars Ladies head coach, Wemimo Mathew and Nasarawa Amazons safe hand, Shukurat Bakare have been awarded the coach and player for the month of April.
Wemimo guided the Sky Blue Stars Ladies in maintaining their topflight status in their debut season in the NWFL Premiership.
While Bakare pulled up amazing strings of saves for the Lafia Land ladies as they top the group A standings to seal a place in the prestigious NWFL Premiership Super Six playoffs.
The Naija Women Football Awards which were established since 2018 to celebrate fantastic coaches and players who have had performed extremely well in their professional careers.
This year’s edition of the Naija Women Football Awards will take place in Bayelsa on May 25 where various awards will be given to outstanding players and coaches who have shone like a million stars this season.
