Young Talents 99 Queens would be in trouble when they visit formidable Honour Ladies Queen in the week one of WAFA league.
The 2023/24 WAFA league would commence this weekend as Honour Ladies host Young Talents 99 Queens on Saturday by 4pm at the Jalisco footballl pitch, Oshodi, Lagos.
The encounter would be a tough match for the visitng team as homers are preparing to take thier opponents to the cleaners when both clash on Saturday.
Speaking ahed of the encounter,head coach of Honour Ladies, Daniel Ibezim is talking tough saying that his girls are good frame of mind to face their opponents.
“The spirit in camp is quite encouraging and satisfactory.The players are looking forward to the match with high expectations.It is not going to be easy for our opponents because my players are excited for this match.I must confess to you that the girls are ready physically and mentally to go out for victory comes Saturday,”he said.
Ibezim however predicted a tough season and urged his girls to approach all their matches with all seriousness.
“I believe this league is a good testing ground for my players to give them exposure and experience as we still have bigger competitions to go for. I also believe that many girls will go far from this team to even a bigger team in the nearest future,” he concluded.
