U-16 Alimosho Championship Returns After Sallah Break Across Centres

The ongoing U-16 Alimosho Football Championship has returned this weekend after the teams observed a week break due to the Muslim Sallah.

The championship which put together by Alimosho Football Coaches Council kicked off four weeks ago.

Due to the Sallah celebration observed by the Muslim faithful at weekend,the chairman organising Committee, Toyin Shoyemi postponed all the week four matches to allow the players and coaches to observe the festive period.

Action resumes this Saturday when JSN Nation host MA Galaxy by 12noon at Jakande Estate Oke Afa,Isolo, Fantastic FA welcome Igando Football Club by 12noon at Oki Primary School, Alaguntan, Iyana-Ipaja, while Divine FA would be a guest to White Soccer by 4pm at Olakunle Primary School, Abaranje, Alimosho.

Commenting on the championship,Shoyemi expressed satisfaction with the conduct of teams and urges them to keep the flag flying.

“The championship is quite impressive in area of organisation, officiating and commitment of the teams.

“I must commend the coaches for the job well done and once again I urge our coaches to continue in that direction because we are now in crucial stage to determine the true champions,”he said.
