The ongoing U-15 Holiday Gold Cup taking place at the Ijegun playground, Ijegun, Alimosho, Lagos has reached the last group match.
A total of 12 teams are taking part in the championship and more than 20 goals have have scored so far.
The participating teams have played two matches and their last group match would determine their qualification into the next stage.
Four matches have been lined up on Monday as Super Accurate battle White Angel by 10am, M.A. Galaxy tackle Adebayo Academy by 11am,while Balo tackle Heart of Lion by noon as Rising Star confront vs Radiant by 1pm.
On Tuesday, Barcelona face Radiant by 10am, White Soccer tackle Rising Star by 11am, Heart of Lion tackle Adebayo boys by noon, while Super Accurate battle vs Sammy by 1pm as White Angel confront Starlet Dynamos by 2pm.
Match Coordinator, Samuel Haruna said the competition was organised to keep the kids busy during their holiday and commended the participating teams for their commitment to the competition.
“I must commend the teams for their spirit of sportsmanship exhibited throughout the competition.We have not recorded any act of indiscipline during the competition and it shows that the teams abide by our rules and regulations,”he said.
