The U-10 Holiday Gold Cup final holds on Friday evening by 4pm at the Ijegun playground, Ijegun Alimosho, Lagos.
To reach the final stage,Super Accurate FA defeated Starlet Dynamos 1-0 in the semi final, while Sammy FA defeated Barcelona FA 9-8 on penalties after playing a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
Match coordinator, Olokodana Sheriff noted that the aim of the tournament has been achieved by keeping the kids busy while developing and promoting young football talents and spirit of sportsmanship within the community and its environs.
He further explained that the competition has received a lot of applause in the community and particularly commended the football stakeholders for their support given to the tournament.
Speaking ahead of the final, Coach of Sammy football Academy,Lanre David boasted that his team has what it takes to win the tournament saying that he has prepared his boys for tough final.
Meanwhile, chairman organising committee,Samuel Haruna assured that the next edition would be better.
