The talents pool of Nigerian football is getting larger by the day, as prodigiously gifted young footballers are discovered across the different cities in Nigeria.
The latest blooming star is 14 years old attacker Raheem Salaudeen, who has in recent times been attracting interests from top European clubsides in view of his eye-catching performances for his youth club Buruj Football Academy.
Salaudeen who is currently with the national U-15 team, the Future Eagles, in Abuja, has already started making headlines. He made history by becoming the youngest player to debut in the Nigeria Nationwide League, at the age of 13 years.
The lad who disclosed that he wants to follow the illustrious footsteps and of course, hopes to do better than his mentor, Victor Boniface, who is presently a star player for reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Unfazed by the local and foreign clubs interests in him, Salaudeen who is in capable hands, is however, focused and disciplined. Even as he is determined to make the final cut and represent Nigeria, beginning with outstanding performances for the Future Eagles.
