Tonic FC Players Lands In Portugal, Ready For Professional Career

The five players recently scouted from Lagos based non-league team Tonic Football Club and signed by Portuguese side Esmoriz football club, have landed in the country in readiness to kick-start their professional football careers.

The five players that included the giant size young goalkeeper Ayuba Oyetola were accompanied on the trip by the club’s General Overseer, Prince Dapo Ajibade.

After a tour guide of the city and training facilities at the modest Portuguese club, Ajibade, a former Executive Director of Ondo State Football Agency and now, the Director-General of KIFA, expressed his delight with the warm reception given the young lads and of course, the readiness of the boys to kick-start their careers on a strong and impressive notes.

The highly respected football investor and administrator, went on to reveal plans by his management to hold series of football scouting programmes that promises to discover more younger and fresher talents that would further help increase and improve the nation’s football talents pool.
