Following the successful of U-15 Madojiemu Athletics Championship which concluded over the weekend in Benin, Edo State, sponsor of the event, Princess Mabel Madojiemu has expressed her gratitude to the organisers and other sport stakeholders in the state who have contributed their quota to make the event a memorable one.
Princess Mabel Madojiemu who sponsored the two days event said she was excited and satisfied with the success of the championship noted that the organising commiittee, Edo State Sports Commission and Edo State Athletic Association did a good job to make this year’s event a memorable one and good outings for the athletes.
“I would like to express my gratitude to our Honourable Commissioner, the association’s chairman.Igueben dignitaries, our dedicated coaches, officials, school game masters, all our co sponsors and supporters, members of the press, and, of course, our talented athletes that witnessed these young children showcasing their athletic abilities, it is evident that they are the future champions of tomorrow,” she said.
Princess Madojiemu disclosed that event was sponsored to discover young talent, providing a platform for the aspiring athletes to shine and thanked them for the job well done.
“I want to thank each and every one of you for being here to support these young athletes. Your presence and encouragement mean the world to them and inspire them to strive for greatness.
“I hope to see you all again at our next event, where we can continue to celebrate the incredible talents and potential of our youth.I also thank the elite athletes for their performance.They really prepared for this championship and i wish all the participants the safe journey back to their respective destinations,”she concluded.
