Seamoriow Football Academy and defending champions, B United Football Academy would go all out to fight for the sum of N1.5 million naira prize money at the final of U-15 Seamoriow Football League Championship.
The much anticipated final would hold tomorrow (Sunday) by 2pm while third place match holds by 9am.
To reach the final stage, Seamoriow defeated Adhoc FA 4-2 on penalties after 3-3 at the regulation time while B United pip 36 Lion 1-0 to book a place in final for the second time.
The converner of the tournament,Oluwaseyi Amos recently announced the sum of N1.5 million naira with a giant trophy for the winners,while the second and third position would pocket N800,000 and N500,000 respectively.
The final ceremony would be colorful and glamorous as the two teams ready to give their best in the final.
B United boys are ready to defend the title won last year while Seamoriow Boys are aiming to win it for the first time.
It is going to be a tough and interesting final match as football fans in Ikotun and its environs would come out in large numbers to watch the closing ceremony.
Match coordinator, Olayinka Olajide urged the teams to report an hour before the kick off of each match saying that both teams must warm up together on the pitch at the same time.
“We appeal to teams to come with good hose and compulsory shinguards for all players.All teams must type their team sheet and summit three copies to the LOC before kick off.
“Please note that only the eligible players and two coaches only will be allowed inside the dressing room and the technical area,” said Olajide who wishes all the teams best of luck in their outings.
