Chief Executive Officer of Seamoriow Football Club of Alimosho, Oluwaseyi Amos marked his birthday with thanksgiving in his residence in Lagos as staff and management were in attendance to rejoice with the celebrant.
Aside the members of staff and management in attendance,families, relations and well wishers came from far and near to rejoice with the family of Amos.
Speaking at the occasion, the celebrant, Amos expressed gratitude to God for adding a year to his age and returned glory to Almighty God for His blessings upon his life.
“What can I say than to thank God for the gift of life and sound health.I am alive today because of His mercies upon me and my family.The bible says we should be counting our days and I am marking my birthday today as a way of thanking Lord for everything He has done for me,”he said.
Speaking on behalf of his celebrant,Mrs Amos described her husband an humble and kindhearted person who has used his resources to touch the lives of people around him.
“Let me use this medium to congratulate my husband on his birthday celebration.He marked his birthday today just to thank God for everything He has done for him.
“The celebrant is a man of the people and he is humbled and accommodate people no matter where the person comes from.Once again, I wish him happy birthday and many years in return,”she said.
Some coaches and players of Seamoriow FC who were in attendance wished the celebrant happy birthday and prayed for long life and sound health.
In his birthday message, vice chairman of Lagos State Football Association LSFA, Adedotun Coker congratulated the celebrant on his birthday celebration and described the celebrant a football loving person and administrator who had contributed immensely to the football development in the state.
“On behalf of Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), I wish my brother, friend and football administrator happy birthday and many years in good and sound health.The celebrant is a lover of the round leather game and he has contributed to the growth of football in the state.He deserves my applause and commendations,” he concluded.
