Sara Idongesit Warrie Triumphs Again, Wins Gold in Malaysian Open Fencing Tourney

In a clear show of strength and zeal, Akwa Ibom State – Malaysian daughter, Miss Sarah Sofea Idongesit Warrie had yet again come out tops in the just concluded 12th Malaysia Open Fencing Championship 2023 U-12 Girls Epee Event.

The competition, which was attended by all Southeast Asia countries, saw Miss Warrie coming out tops, winning a gold medal and was awarded the Diploma Of Achievement Gold award.

The event, which is organised by the Olympic Council of Malaysia was held from 26 – 28 August 2023.

Sarah Idongesit Warrie, who is just 11 years old is the youngest daughter of Dr. Idongesit Warrie from Nsit Ubium and Dr. Ayu Ningrad, a Malaysian.

It would be recalled that Miss Sarah Warrie in July this year clinched second position in the Malaysian FT Open Fencing Tournament.
