Player of Royal Titans Football Club of Lagos,,Daniel Damilare Awonusi has expressed appreciation to chairman of his club, Obajide Ife-Adediran for giving him the opportunity to play for Obosa FC at the just concluded NLO U-19 Youth League known as Nigerian Nationwide League Division Two.
Awonusi who was loaned from Royal Titans FC to Obosa FC during the league scored ten goals at the just concluded NLO U-19 Youth League held in Lagos centre.
Awonusi told our correspondent that he is very grateful to his club boss, Ife-Adediran for his moral and financial support given him throughout the NLO league matches and promised to remain focused in his footballing career.
“I thank my chairman, Ife-Adediran for his fatherly role he plays in my football career and I dedicate my ten goals in the league to him because he always encourage me during my training session ,”said Awonusi who promised to do more for his club in subsequent engagements.
While commenting on his goal scoring, Awonusi said he cherished all his goals he scored for Obosa and described his performance very impressive.
“I am pleased with my performance at the just concluded NLO U-19 Youth League.Scoring ten goals in the league as a left winger shows that I am ripe for NNL and NPFL premier League,”he said.
