Her Regal Majesty Queen Temitope Enitan Ogunwusi recently paid a courtesy visit to Honourable Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), the Minister of Works and Housing, to express her gratitude for his unflinching support and mentorship over the years.
The Queen has always spoken highly of the Minister, describing him as a strong tool for her personal and professional development, a pillar of strength, a hero, and a Father figure.
The Queen reminisced on how she first met Honourable Fashola while working as a consultant to the Ministry of Health under the leadership of Honourable Dr. Olajide Idris. This was during the Ebola crisis when the Queen initially started her advocacy TV program, Health Wise, to educate people on how to protect themselves from diseases and keep healthy hygiene. Without anyone referring her or her program to him, Honourable Fashola discovered the show and reached out to her directly to encourage and support her. This to her was an experience of a lifetime that transformed her life.

In her words, “Honourable Minister Fashola is one of the people God has used to shape me into becoming who I am today”.
In a world where Father figures are sometimes hard to come by, Honourable Babatunde Raji Fashola is a shining example of what it means to be a true Father. His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II regards him as the Queen’s Father, and it’s easy to see why.
