Pro Foot Win U-16 Alimosho Football Coaches Council League

Profoot Football Academy have been crowned as champions at the just concluded Alimosho Football Coaches Council U-16 League.

Profoot who won it last year retained this year’s edition.

Club Proprietor, Olanrewaju Olojo-Kosoko stated that at the start of the league when the fixtures were released, their strategy was to win the league even before the last game as they expected the last tie to be a tough one which eventually proved so.

He considered the league as a developmental programme for their players and commended the efforts of the council for this initiative which engaged the youths and gave them an opportunity to showcase their ability in a competitive atmosphere.

Despite their 2- 1defeat by Samjason in the last match, Profoot still emerged as champions on the log table followed by Samjason Academy.

Meanwhile the executive members of Alimosho Football Coaches Council unde the leadership of Uchenna Samuel Eke congratulated Profoot for their impressive performance and commended the team and coaching crew for the job well done.

Eke noted that the league was designed to give young players the platform to showcase their God given talents.
