After four days intensive football trials held at the Saki Township Stadium, Oyo State, the Lagos based club, Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club have selected 18 young players to join the team ahead of 2024/25 new season.
The management of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC decided to organise a trials outside Lagos State for the first
time in order to give other players in hinterland an opportunity to come to the club.
The trials whick started on Monday saw more than 100 players between ages of 15 to 17 storm the stadium to showcase their God given talents.
At the end of the four days trials in the ci Saki Town,18 good players were selected to join Prince Kazeem Eletu FC.
Speaking on the just concluded trials held in Saki Township Stadium, team manager of the club, Eletu Muftau expressed gratitude to God for the success of the trials and commeded the coaching crew and other management staff for their unrelenting efforts to ensure that the trials recorded huge success.
Commenting on the selection of the 18 players, Muftau said the coaching crew led by Isreal Adegolu painstakingly monitored the players and selected the best of the best among them.
“The trials was a good for the club that has followers both in Nigeria and outside the country.During the trials,I saw raw talents here and the coaching crew were excited to see the players they wanted in the team.
“At a time, the coaching crew had a selection headache because all the players that came for our trials were good but after we allowed them to play each other again, the coaching crew arrived at the 18 good players that would join the club soonest,”he said.
