Founder and Chairman of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens Football Club of Lagos ,Prince Austin Kazem Eletu -Odibo has announced immediate sack of Club Coach, Jaiyeola Damilare for involving in players financial transfer and other activities without the knowledge of the club management.
in a statement issued to our correspondent and signed by the club chairman stated that the immediate past Coach,Jaiyeola has relived of his duties and he should stop parade himself as Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens head coach.
“The management of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens FC Limited hereby notify the public that Mr Jaiyeola Damilare, the former coach of our Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens has ceased to be a member of coaching staff effective from today (26, August, 2024.)
“The public is hereby notified not to have any transaction whatsoever on our behalf with him.Should anybody have any claim or outstanding business relations with him, they are hereby advised to deal with him personally and not in any way relating to our organisation.Thank you for your cooperation and accept our best wishes,”the statement reads.
Commenting why Jaiyeola was sacked with immediate effect, the general team manager of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club, Muftau Eletu said Jaiyeola has seriously involved in financial transaction of the players for several months without the knowledge of the management and also committed various offences which affected the image of the club.
“Let me say that Mr Jaiyeola Damilare is involved in our players transfer for several months and diverted the money into his personal account.He cleared some players without the management knowledge within and outside the country.
“This is absolutely against the rules of the club.After thorough investigation, it was gathered that he has made huge amount of money from the players transfer and used the money to buy a car and other properties which the management frowned over it.
“Presently the management has sent official statement to Nigeria Football Federation NFF and Lagos State Football Association,LSFA and other football authorities to be aware that Mr Jaiyeola Damilare is not a member of coaching staff of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens and anybody does business with him is not for the interest of the club,”he said.
