Head Coach of Evolution United,Adeola Kosoko said Prince Kazeem Eletu FC were lucky to play draw with his team in a friendly match held recently at the Eagles Club sports center, Surulere, Lagos.
After 3-0 disappointing result against Beyond Limits Football Club in a recent friendly match at Ikenne, Prince Kazeem Eletu played 1-1 with Evolution United last Friday.
The result was not too impressive for Eletu coaching crew and management as the search for quality strikers and other positions had already begun.
Kosoko while chatting with our correspondent after the match confessed that his intention was to beat their opponents unfortunately the encounter ended in stalemate.
“My intention was to beat Prince Kazeem Eletu unfortunately they first scored us in the early second half.The goal spurred my players to increase the tempo of the game which gave us our equaliser.
“We were better after our opponents scored us and my players put pressure on their opponents.We created some scoring chances unfortunately my boys failed to convert their chances,”he said.
While Eletu Coach, Isreal Adegolu said the team are undergoing transition presently and assured better days ahead.
He disclosed that the team were average which really affects the team’s performance against Evolution United.
He however admitted that work in progress in the team and assured fans better days ahead.
