A Lagos-based club, Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club, would begin its four-day open trials starting from next Monday morning at the Campus Sports Centre, Lagos Island.
The players expected in the trials should be between the ages of 15 to 18 years old.
The open trials would begin on 8 September 2025, by 10am at the Campos sports centre, Lagos Island, while Prince Kazeem Eletu would continue its trials on Tuesday at the Onikan Stadium by 11am.
On Wednesday, the trials would be held by 6am and on Thursday by 10am at the Campos sports centre.
Speaking with our correspondent, General Manager of the team, Eletu Muftau, said the trials were necessary to fortify the team ahead of the new season, noting that many of their key players have gone for trials to various clubs outside the country.
“It is very important to embark on open trials, which begin on Monday in Lagos. We are targeting players within the ages of 15 and 18 years old so that coaches can work on them and train them for future challenges,” he said.
Muftau explained that players above 18 years would not be allowed in the trials and urged the club owners, coaches and football agents to send their players who are within the age bracket.
He disclosed that the trials are meant for eligible players within or outside the state, saying that only the best players would be selected on Thursday forthe final trials.
