Femi Gbajabiamila Mini-Stadium, Abalti Barracks, Ojuelegba, Surulere, Lagos, was the venue on Christmas day when leading Nigerian pharmaceutical company, Emzor rolled out the drum to celebrate the newly crowned 2023 CAF Women Player of the Year award winner, Asisat Oshoala.
The occasion was also used for the girls to showcase their talent on the field in a mini competition tagged Asisat Oshoala Football4girls Tournament.
The homecoming bash to celebrate the rare feat of Oshoala, who plays for FC Barcelona in Spain was witnessed by the Group Managing Director/CEO, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited represented by Mrs. Uzoma Ezeoke, Executive Director of Emzor Pharmaceutical industries Limited, Kunle Faloye, Emzor Pharmaceuticals’ Marketing Manager, board member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Aisha Falode, veteran journalists, Toyin Ibitoye, Godwin Enakhena, Deji Omotoyinbo and a host of others.
