PHOTOS: Sports Family Honours Nigerian Paralympians At Gala Night In Lagos

The joy in the heart of the special athletes knows no bound when the Nigeria sports family gathered in Lagos to dine and wine with the para athletes who have brought glory to their fatherland.

The Balmoral Convention Centre, Sheraton, Ikeja, Lagos was the venue on Friday night where, at the instance of the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria (PCN) led by Mr. Sunday Odebode, brought together who-is-who in Nigeria to honour the country’s physically challenged athletes, the celebrated ambassadors, who brought Olympic glory to Nigeria through their extraordinary ability with their stellar performance at the recently concluded 2024 Paralympics in Paris, France.

While the PCN gave various awards to these wonderful athletes, distinguished Nigerians who included the sports loving Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Ogun State Governor, Mr Dapo Abiodun and a host of others were also honoured as Patrons of the PCN.
