PHOTOS: NSC Boss, Shehu Dikko Hosts African Boxing Ambassador Bash Ali In Abuja

African Boxing Ambassador, Nigerian Bashiru Lawrence Ali, OON, was a guest of the newly appointed Chairman of National Sports Commission (NSC), Shehu Dikko in his office in Abuja on Wednesday.

Bash Ali, the World Boxing Federation (WBF) cruiserweight champion’s visit to the number one sports man in the country was meant to congratulate and felicitate with him on his recent appointment by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The meeting also discussed the proposed Guinness Book of Record Boxing Championship which will see the African Boxing Ambassador fights to break the record as the oldest man on earth to enter a boxing ring and eventually be the oldest man to win a boxing championship.

Nigeria is being planned to host this historic event first time outside the United States of America (USA), and if this happens, there are inherent advantages that will add value to sports in the country.

Independent News Express reports that Bash Ali and NSC Boss have fruitful discussions.
