The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Sports, Damilare Orimoloye in collaboration with the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) held the first in the series of the monthly aerobics programme tagged ‘Keep Fit Lagos’ early on Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena, Onikan, (formerly known as Onikan Stadium).
It was a full house inside the main bowl of the stadium as participants were made to undergo exciting fitness event which included aerobics and dance, cardiovascular exercises, flexibility and mobility, and other activities under strict supervision by some certified instructors.
The participants who included the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, Chairman, House Committee on Sports, Abiodun Orekoya, DG, LSSC. Oluwatoyin Gafaar, LSSC Board members, Fatai Abatan, Lanre Saheed and Adeshina Ogunjimi, thers are Lagos FA chairman, Fouad Oki, Director, Public Affairs, Titilayo Oshodi-Eko, Director, School Sports, Oluyomi Oluwasanmi, SSA, Sports, Damilare Orimoloye and SAA Grassroots Sports, Adebanji Atewogboye and others used the ‘Keep Fit Lagos’ as an avenue to burn calories, inspire healthy lifestyle modifications, bond, network, entertained themselves and have maximum fun.
