The ACEDHARS Building inside the University of Lagos, Akoka was a beehive of activities on Friday, 31 October, when the Hopealive Initiative for Africa (HAI Africa), non governmental organisation of His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan-Ogunwusi and the French Embassy (FEF-OSC Grant) rolled out the drums to celebrate 60 Nigerian young girls who graduated from SheLevate Tech Digital Empowerment bootcamp.
Independent News Express reports that the ladies, who came for the graduation ceremony, received certificates as proof of learning. These certificates have also been described as badges of resilience, creativity and hope.
The graduation ceremony was attended by the Deputy Convener of the Hopesalive Initivative of Africa, Her Regal Majesty, Ambassador Dr. Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development in Lagos State, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende Abubakre and a host of other dignitaries.
