Basketball lit up Kano State as DAM Foundation successfully sponsored the 2025 Summer Showtime Basketball Competition, a thrilling two-day event held from August 1st to 2nd.
The grassroots tournament brought together six determined teams, divided into two groups, competing for bragging rights.
Players and fans alike hailed the event as a massive boost to the basketball scene in Northern Nigeria and one ne player captured the mood best.
“It’s not just about the games, it’s about growth, visibility and hope. Huge thanks to the DAM Foundation for giving us this platform,” one of the fans remarked.
DAM Foundation’s commitment to youth development through sports was on full display, offering not just competition, but connection, empowerment and memories.
As the buzz continues well beyond the final whistle, many are already looking forward to an even bigger Summer Showtime in 2026.
