The CDS Democracy Day U-18 Basketball Championship, which dunked off at the weekend was another moment for basketball pundits to enjoy their game again in Abuja FCT.
There has been an exciting basketball action from players and teams who participated in the tournament.
General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, the sponsor of the tournament showed up along with some other important folks.
Brig. Gen. Aliyu Abdullahi (Rtd.), the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, welcomed everyone, and then the CDS took the stage to promise that this championship is going to hit other parts of the country as well. They even took a moment to remember the servicemen who lost their lives in duty and the 22 athletes from Kano who tragically died in an accident.
