PHOTOS: Bash Ali Visits National Assembly In Abuja

*Meets Chairman, Senate Committee on Sport

African Boxing Ambassador, Bashiru Lawrence Ali, OON met with the Chairman, Senate Committee on Sport, Abubakar Sumaila, at the National Assembly, Abuja, Nigeria on Monday in his bid to get the Federal Government involved in the forthcoming Guinness World Record Championship in Nigeria taking place in the country very soon.

Ali, who is popularly called Bash Ali, was at Sumaila’s office to seek his blessing and that of the Senate’s support as the world awaits the staging of the Guinness World Record Boxing Championship where the Nigerian legendary pugilist will be the oldest man to step on boxing ring at 68 years and if he win the fight, he will rewrite world boxing record as the oldest man to win a world title.
