On Tuesday, 27 January 2026, African Boxing Ambassador, Bashiru Lawrence Ali, a.k.a Bash Ali was at the National Assembly to attend a public hearing which was called by the Federal House of Representatives to resolve unending issues about the proposed Guinness World Record Championship which will hold in Nigeria.
The plans for the staging of the fight in Nigeria has suffered several hitches in the last decade.
