Former captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Barcelona FC striker, Asisat Oshoala, has been celebrating another feather added to her football career with the 5th CAF Women’s Player of the Year award which she won on Thursday in Morocco.
Oshoala now overtakes her compatriot Perpetua Nkwocha, to stand alone as a record five-time winner of the African Player of the Year accolade.
The striker took to her social media platform, Facebook, to celebrate the award on Friday, as she displayed a series of photos on her official page to show how happy she is winning the honour.
