A Lagos-born artist, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie popularly known as Patoranking would commission a newly renovated Ojonyun Sports Center football pitch, Ebute-Metta, Mainland, Lagos.
The official commissioning ceremony of the stadium would hold on 29th, June, 2024, Saturday at noon.
The nine aside football pitch is renovated by Patoranking.The sport enthusiast turned the football pitch to astro turf and renovated the stands where spectators can comfortably seat during a match.
Speaking with our correspondent on Tuesday, a Lagos based well known football coach, Ahmed Sulaiman popularly known as Shooting confirmed that arrangements have been concluded for official commissioning ceremony of the football pitch and thanked the Patoranking for renovating and upgrading football pitch of Ojoniyun sports center.
“Our newly renovated Ojoniyun sports center football pitch is ready for commissioning on Saturday and there is no other person that would do the official commissiong than Mr Patoranking who used his resources to turn the field to asro turf for the growth and development of football in Ebute-Metta and its environs.
“On behalf of my colleagues in the coaching profession, i say thank you for Patoranking for his contribution to the grassroots football development not only in Ebute-Metta but Lagos at large,”he said.
Some activities have been lined up for the official commissiong of the field as Wazbak Queens face Mainland academy, while Vision Right Football Academy tackle UM Academy in another entertaining match.
Patoranking and His friends would also face Ebute-Metta All Stars at the official ceremony.
In U-13 category, Mainland Football Academy face Wazbak Queens as Right Vision Choice tackle UMC Academy.
