Party Managers under the aegis of Party Managers Association of Nigeria (PAMAN) are set to hold the fourth edition of their annual conference, Party Managers’ Conference (PAMCON 4.0) on Tuesday and Wednesday (November 12 and 13, 2024).

Chairman of the planning committee for PAMCON 4.0, Mr. Oluwadare Arulewola, said in a statement that the theme of this year’s conference is, ‘Economic Empowerment: Strategies for Events Professionals’, aimed to discuss the prevailing macro-economic challenges, implications and prospects for the industry.

He said the high points of the two-day conference include keynote addresses to be delivered by the Founder, Zapphire Events, Mrs. Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, and the Managing Director, BusyBee Events, Mrs. Bisi Sotunde.

Arulewola also disclosed that a panel comprising leading industry and business leaders would also dissect the conference theme with a view to drawing insights for business growth from their knowledge and expertise. The panelists include the Managing Director, PR Redline Limited, Mr. Moruff Adenekan,; Mr. Tokunbo Odebunmi; Mrs. Adeola Falomo; and Convener, CHANCE, Mrs. Olajumoke Saliu.

The two-day event will be taking place at LTV 8, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos, would also feature Conference and Trade Fair on November 12 (at Combo Hall, LTV 8), and Dinner/Gala Night on November 13 (at Multi-purpose Hall, LTV 8).

“We look forward to welcoming participants to this year’s PAMCON 4.0 as it promises to be a game-changing experience for events managers, industry professionals, and technology enthusiasts eager to stay ahead of the curve and be at the forefront of developments in the events industry,” he enthused.

Speaking on the impact of PAMAN, the Chairman, Board of Trustees and CEO, HoneyBols Events, Mrs. Akinfolajimi Adebimpe, said the association has played and still plays a pivotal role in the events planning and execution industry by bringing members into a community of successful entrepreneurs to share knowledge and expertise on business growth.

She said the key benefits of membership include networking opportunities, professional development, peer review and access to up-to-date industry information and best practices.

“PAMAN offers a veritable platform to connect with fellow professionals and industry experts; and facilitates access to training, seminars and workshops to enhance skills. The Association sets industry standards, and offers immense opportunity for business growth as members can leverage the association’s influence to grow their businesses,” she noted.

Mrs. Adebimpe stated that PAMCON 4.0 offers a platform for industry stakeholders to address complex challenges, share knowledge, and set industry standards.

“At this year’s Party Managers’ Conference, stakeholders will seek to address industry challenges, and discuss solutions to issues that are confronting our industry. Learning from industry experts and thought leaders, building relationships with fellow professionals and potential clients, and collaborating to establish best practices and guidelines also underscore how important this conference is to us.

“By being part of PAMAN and by attending the conference, our conviction is that party managers can enhance their skills, stay updated on industry trends, and contribute to the growth and development of the entire events industry in Nigeria,” he declared.

Another highpoint of this year’s PAMCON 4.0 is the induction of new members.
